21 Choices Frozen Yorgurt – It Is Do Dang Hot Outside

by Franklin on October 12, 2011

The weather in LA can be tricky.  I could have sworn it rained last week.  Today, it is nearly 100 degrees!  The Southern Californian sun is flexing its powers for its last hurrah before the winter I guess.  It’s hot, muggy, and just burning out there.  My AC is working overtime, and I don’t even know how much ice cream I had in the past week. Pasadena has nothing to worry about when it comes to ice cream.  21 Choices in Old Town has a bunch to choose from, and their flavors of the day are sought after by many. They usually have 5 flavors of the day.  Depending on what they feel like mixing up that day, you can choose from their amazing flavors. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is single handedly the best kids cereal of all time.  That is why I put it on all of the ice cream.  Though there were so much toppings to choose from, I had to have it with this classic cereal. It has been years since I had it!  I had the caramel coffee with Cinnamon Toast Crunch.  My girlfriend had vanilla with peanut butter butter fingers and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Let me just say, ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch is awesome.  It is like having Cinnamon Toast Crunch with milk, minus the milk, and add awesome frozen yogurt. The toppings and the froyo is mixed on a ice cold platter, kind of like Cold Stone Creamery. The lines can get kind of long, but you can squeeze to the front if you want to just get plain froyo without toppings.  Thought their special flavors of the day are sought after, I usually go for the original favors. From there, I add my toppings.  This is the only way to beat the head.  Ice cream is the solution to so many things.  I can stay cool and get my Cinamon Toast Crunch fix.

Hi Franklin, I agree with you that LA has some of the best food there is. 21 Choices exemplifies out of the box thinking that helps to set the food scene apart. I’m a former SoCal resident and reading this post reminded me of home…thanks for the smile!
